WordPress 3.0 Release Candidate 1 is now available. It means WordPress 3.0 is just days away from being released. Possibly in a week, but not more two weeks. If you are itching to see the new WordPress 3.0 changes, go ahead and download RC1 since pretty much everything else is done. There might be a fix or two before the official release. I was waiting for this latest release as I have to put all (almost 7) of my blogs into single MU.
Though to make the big move I will wait wait for final release as rc1 has some known bugs.
I’m planning to consolidate as well. I want to try it on a development environment before doing it on a live site. It’s making me nervous. Don’t forget to backup your database before switching.
