I came across an excellent plugin called WordPress Flickr Post Bar that allows you to easily insert your Flickr photos to your blog. Another nice feature of this plugin is having the ability to search the public Flickr database for photos based on tags or username or a combination of both.
So, I installed the plugin. It worked like a charm. No problems at all with the installation. I had to make a minor adjustment by increasing the width of the main content area by 1px to accommodate five photos to line up in one row. It’s weird to be off just by 1px.
Other than that, an excellent plugin. It worked the first time around. A very, very easy install. A great tool for photoblogging with WordPress. Now, if I can only convince myself to open up a paid Flickr account. I have an free account with Flickr, but has restrictions.
As you can see, the results are above. Just click on any image and you’ll be redirected to my Flickr account. The pictures above are sample photos of my saxophone taken several months ago which I uploaded to my Flickr account. Very neat indeed.
