Today, I went back to the Apple store and told them what happened. The guy who sold me the case was there. When I told him what happened, he said he was sorry and offered to replace my Ipod with a brand new one.
My old Ipod has my name engraved on the back of the unit, but the new one would not have any engraving. This is fine with me after thinking about it for about 10 seconds. He apologized again and threw in a free car charger. Now, that’s customer service. I walked out a happy customer.
