Sopranos Last Episode

So, what really happened in the last episode of the Sopranos? All of the sudden, the camera goes black in the most inopportune moment leaving the TV audience at the edge of their seats with questions as to what really happened. The sudden abrupt end leads to many questions unanswered especially since all night long the episode had this dark ominous feeling to it that something bad was going to happen to Tony. When the screen went black, the show is over. That’s it. No one knows for sure what happened, but I think the audience got whacked. I hope it stays this way for eternity. No sequels. No follow ups. No explanation. A perfect ending to a hit… TV series that is.

  1. Here is my deal on what happened on the last episode of Sopranos. First of all Meadow trying to get into the parking spot, after much effort, and it being a tight squeeze she gets in. She is able to find a spot, a metaphor for how Tony, no matter how close he might be to death, manages to pull through. The young black guys coming in, sort of like changing of the guard, Tony may survive, but he is a relic, the mafia is a dying breed, gangsters, street gangs are taking over, the guy who went to the bathroom had a US flag on his cap, ie, the govt, the feds are going to be involved in Tony’s life in one way or another, to be determined later, well there is what i took from the episode, any comments

  2. You offer some great points. Yes, there were lots of foreshadowing in the last episode leaving Soprano fans with something to talk about for months on end or even years after the last episode. I thought it was a brilliant end to a great television series by creator and director David Chase. Chase has denied rumors of a follow-up movie.

  3. There were Arab types in the cafe-Tony gave infor about possible terrorists to the FBI-maybe now its payback time.
