NFL Draft Tomorrow
The NFL will hold its annual college draft tomorrow starting 12 noon Eastern time. You have probably seen dozens of mock drafts already and can’t wait to see how your favorite team will fare. Who will the teams pick? No one really knows for sure until tomorrow when the Oakland Raiders will pick first. Will it be JaMarcus Russell? Perhaps, Brady Quinn or even Calvin Johnson? If the Raiders pick other than JaMarcus Russell, it will send repercussions to the rest of the first round picks.
Across the Bay, actually in Santa Clara, the San Francisco 49ers will be drafting at number 11. Everyone seems to be pointing at a defensive lineman Adam Carriker from Nebraska, although coach Mike Nolan said prior to the draft that it will pick the best available player in that slot. San Francisco has 4 picks in the first 3 rounds and six more in the last 3 rounds for a total of 10 picks.
