What a sweet victory for the USA National Team beating Mexico 2-0. This is a remarkable win considering the circumstances. Let me explain. Mexico was at full strength. They have most of their European players while the US only called up 4 players playing in Europe. The rest of the US players are made up of MLS players. The Mexican league is in session right now meaning their players should be in form while the MLS is in their off season. It’s a game the Mexicans really badly needed to win. Psychologically they needed to win, but still the US beat them 2-0. Of course, Mexico played the most attractive soccer, but it’s all about scoring goals and winning. For the US to win against a full-strength Mexican team with a pro-Mexican crowd was indeed sweet victory. Great win USA! So proud of you. This picture captures it all.
