US Soccer Next Coach

If you follow the US MNT which is short for the United States Mens National Soccer Team, the USSF, The United States Soccer Federation plans to announce in late November the coach of the US Mens National Team. The leading candidate at this moment is Juergen Klinsmann, the former player and coach of the German National Team during last summer’s World Cup. Klinsmann will be a good fit since he already lives in Los Angeles and is very familiar with US Soccer. If it becomes true, then Klinsmann’s first game will be a friendly against Denmark in early January. I also heard rumors of games versus Scotland and then Mexico early part of next year in the BigSoccer forums. The US MNT will also participate in the Gold Cup and the Copa America competitions in the summer of 2007. I can’t wait to see these games. Go USA!

  1. Klinsmann is a good pick for the u.s team, since he proved that he is able of taking a non technical team like Germany, and making it one of the most fun teams to watch in the last world cup held in Germany.

The u.s is one of the most boring teams that played in the world cup, his main mission will be to start playing with a more offensive stile and not so defensive stile.

  2. Well, it’s not official yet, but probably a good bet. Thanks for reminding me of the last World Cup. That was painful. Hopefully, we can turn it around in the right direction.

  3. Klinnsman is the best choice, but will the money be there? I say no! The Federation won’t be able to meet his offer. So, let’s get on with this announcement. We are 2 months away from the match against Denmark. Will will camp be announced?

  4. I hear many rumors that Jose Pekerman, Argentina’s coach during the last World Cup might be the next USA coach. Who knows what Gulati has up his sleeve. We just have to be patient. Please no more Josh Wolf. Let’s get some new blood in the team.
