Bruce Bochy
This is just in: Bruce Bochy becomes the latest San Francisco Giants manager. He fills the post left by the departed Felipe Alou. Bochy will try to resurrect an aging Giants lineup which includes Barry Bonds and 10 other free agents prior to next season’s opener. Bochy will need to put together a team that can recapture the National League West. Bochy has guided the San Diego Padres with back-to-back National League West Titles and is the winningest San Diego Padres manager in franchise history. That’s good news for the Giants. I hope they get back to the World Series and actually win it this time.
