I got behind a big traffic jam this morning on my way to Sunnyvale which is in Silicon Valley for those who have never heard of it. It was past commute time at around 10am, so I was a little curious as to what the fuss is all about. At first, I thought it was an accident on Highway 237, but I realized something else was going on when I saw traffic on US 101 North as well. Later, I heard on the radio that an HP employee meeting was underway in the Shoreline Ampitheatre. That explains it. HP has about 150,000 employees worldwide. A few thousand employees were on their way to the meeting probably to discuss the scandal that has rocked the Palo Alto-based company. That’s the scoop.
