Oh man, it must sucks to be a Socceroo fan at the moment. Australia just lost to Italy 1-0 in injury time. Italy drew a penalty kick 3 minutes into injury time. Francesco Totti drilled the penalty to the left to send Italy to the next round. Based on replays, it was a classic dive by an Italian player to draw the foul. It was sick to see a team win on another questionable call. It’s a non-call in my opinion. Another blown call by the refs in this World Cup. He should have let the players play to win instead of awarding the Italians the penalty kick and sending them into the quarterfinals. Why does it have to be always controversial. If only the refs could let the players decide who wins the game. Let it be.
