I feel bad for the Dutch. Portugal edged the Dutch run with a score of 1-0. The Dutch had ample of opportunities, but they just couldn’t finish. There were 16 yellow cards and 4 red cards in the game. A total of 25 fouls were called by the trigger-happy referee from Russia. It was an ugly game. In the earlier match, England managed to crawl its way into the quarter finals by beating Ecuador 1-0 courtesy of David Beckham’s bending free-kick. What else? Aside from that, England looked unimpressive. This has to be the most boring side in the World Cup so far, but they keep on winning.
