Am I the only one who thinks of this? Can we blame Google for spam comments? Pre-Google days, there were no blogs, however but there was email and spam was relegated to your own viewing pleasure only. With the advent of blogs, spam has migrated over to blog comments and for everyone to see. Spammers had realized the more links you have, the more popular a website in Google’s rankings. Hence, the start of spam comments, therefore I blame Google for spam comments. Makes sense? Oh, well.
