Starbucks Smells
Work can get boring at times. A change of scenery can do wonders to productivity. I’ve been seen hanging out at a local Starbucks at few times. I use my T-Mobile account to logon to the internet to access email, etc. I’m sure Starbucks gets a cut from T-Mobile. Why do I feel compelled to buy a drink or two?
What’s the deal anyways? Why do I feel guilty for staying more than two hours after buying just one drink. Will somebody tell me what the rule is? Do I need another drink after two hours? Maybe, the “one drink rule” is enough.
I got a certain “look” from an Starbucks employee several weeks ago when I stopped by the coffee shop just to check my email without buying a drink. But, I had a good reason. I already had two Starbucks orders earlier in the day.
And another thing. After two hours at Starbucks, you start to smell like ground coffee. There’s no denying when I’ve been to Starbucks. My friends tell me so. Maybe, I should have let that employee smell me to let him know I already bought two coffees earlier in the day.
Well, I better leave Starbucks now before some overcrazed employee starts smelling me or I become overdosed with the smell of coffee.
