Grand Canyon Attraction

The Grand Canyon will get a glass-bottomed walkway. The horseshoe shaped platform will jut out 70 feet from the canyon’s edge allowing a spectacular view of 4000 feet below. The glass platform will accommodate up to 120 people although it’s capable of supporting up to 72 million pounds. The project is worth $40 million and admission is set to $25 per person. . Rushing out to go? I’m not sure. I have a “slight” fear of height. It’s actually not that bad since I willingly went (see pic) on a Skytrek canopy tour in Costa Rica a couple of years ago. That was pretty hairy. One ride was at least 500 feet above the tree canopy. So, I’m assuming 600 feet above ground. So what about the glass bottomed walkway in the Grand Canyon? I have to think about this one. Ok, I admit. I’m a wuzz, but push comes to shove, I’ll probably do it.
