Shuttle’s Landing
When Discovery lands in California today, it will cost NASA a total of $1 million dollars to transport the shuttle back to Florida. That is one pricey ticket to travel 3000 miles across the country while strapped to the back of a Boeing 747. I was told the high cost was due to oversized baggage. Of course, the ticket does not come with peanuts and a Coke. No movie, either.
