DSL is back up
DSL is up. I’m still irked that SBC couldn’t fix it over the weekend. We reported the problem Friday morning and no one worked on it until Monday morning. To their credit, it was fixed rather quickly by Monday noon.
Oh well. I thought about switching to Vonage using VoIP technology, but I’m not so sure it’s advisable at this time. The problem is, your home phone may not be reachable if your DSL connection and/or power are down. I guess you can always use your cell phone. But, nothing as reliable as a telephone ring tone.
