Temple of Doom 1
What’s that white trail up in the sky? Superman? Captain Marvel? Nope, it’s just NASA sending another aircraft up in the sky. The $330 million experiment will smash NASA’s Deep Impact, aka July 4 spacecraft to a comet called Temple 1 which is 132 million kilometers away travelling at a speed of 37,000 mph.
The explosion will be equivalent to 4.5 tons of TNT. Well, that is one way of blowing up $330 million dollars. The explosion will create deep hole in the comet about the size of a football field. A football field! Why a football field? I don’t understand.
Scientists are saying the explosion will not break up the comet nor distract the comet from its original orbit. This is weak, NASA. For $330 million explosion, I’m very disappointed. If I want to see explosion, I want to see some real fireworks and I want it exactly on July 4th.
Ok, what is really going on? I heard on the rumor mill that the Raiders are planning to move again. Guess what, a football field is now available. Now, I see a connection. The new Raiders will be called Temple of Doom 1, Raiders of the Lost Ark. Cool name! Go, Al.
