Our DSL is down

Our DSL line at home is currently down. I’m online at a local coffee shop. It’s a complete waste of time trying to report the problem to SBC. They had us go through the usual troubleshooting procedures. We already knew it wasn’t the DSL modem, router or the computer.

What’s that white trail up in the sky? Superman? Captain Marvel? Nope, it’s just NASA sending another aircraft up in the sky. The $330 million experiment will smash NASA’s Deep Impact, aka July 4 spacecraft to a comet called Temple 1 which is 132 million kilometers away travelling at a speed of 37,000 mph.

Microsoft Offers Spyware Program

Shares of Symantec and McAffee are down 6% and 4% respectively when Microsoft announced the release of its anti-spyware program. The beta program will be offered free to help remove worms and viruses from computers running Windows XP operating system. Spyware accounts to one-third of the computer crashes on Microsoft XP.
