Our DSL line at home is currently down. I’m online at a local coffee shop. It’s a complete waste of time trying to report the problem to SBC. They had us go through the usual troubleshooting procedures. We already knew it wasn’t the DSL modem, router or the computer.

In 1954, Popular Mechanics made a prediction on how a computer would look like in the year 2004. Click here. It’s pretty funny. I like the printer, monitor and the gauges, but I’m perplexed about the double steering wheels. Maybe, its for feeling the Need for Speed.
Shares of Symantec and McAffee are down 6% and 4% respectively when Microsoft announced the release of its anti-spyware program. The beta program will be offered free to help remove worms and viruses from computers running Windows XP operating system. Spyware accounts to one-third of the computer crashes on Microsoft XP.
I love oatmeal. As far as I remember, my family always had Quaker oatmeal in our kitchen. In college, oatmeal was a staple food. Of course, ignorance is bliss. I didn’t know how beneficial oatmeal was until much later in life.
I installed two very nice Mambo modules last week called Random Image and Webcam. The Random Image module displays images from a specified directory on the server. This is quite nice since my online gallery is now on the same server. The Webcam is another module that allows the PC camera to capture still images and display it on your website.
