$60 Million Wedding
Talking about extravagant, an Indian steel tycoon is reportedly going to spend $60 million for his daughter’s wedding which include 1500 guests for a six day bash to be held in France.
The wedding includes renting the Tuileries garden in Paris for one night, renting a gallery at Versailles for another, building a makeshift castle in a park in Saint-Cloud, while the actual wedding took place at Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte a couple days ago.
The wedding cost more than the recent royal wedding in Spain which cost about $35 million. I think it’s too much money to throw away for a wedding. I can understand a millionaire spending a million or two, but $60 million is a lot of money.
Just think how many hungry mouths can be fed around the world, and they are many poor in his native India. It is his money, and he is free to spend whatever he wants.
