US Abundance of Left Footed Players
Most soccer teams have trouble finding decent left-footed players. The US Men’s National Team seems to be thriving with at least half a dozen players who are naturally left footed. Here’s the list of US wing and left back players: Eddie Lewis, DeMarcus Beasley, Greg Vanney, Bobby Convey, John O’Brien.
There’s another left footed player, Ante Razov, but he doesn’t count since he plays on top. There’s a couple more players that can play the position, but the players are not called up as often.
