Truce or Fight?
What is going on at Najaf Iraq? The militiamen of radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr’ can’t seem to figure out what they want. The call for truce, but then a fight ensues. They call for a truce again followed by another fight, truce again, then another fight. You get the picture!
These guys are making a mockery and a joke of the whole situation. Everytime they reach an agreement with the US military, they celebrate as if they have won the battle.
In the meantime, everytime the US military would let its guard down, al-Sadr’s militiamen would attack either killing or wounding a US military personnel. This is ridiculous. These punks don’t deserve a truce!
These are the same people who hide in mosques, hospitals and schools during a battle. They only call for truce if they are at a disadvantage, or trapped or have no way out.
These people can’t be trusted. The US need to be more firm in addressing this situation before losing anymore soldiers. A truce should be a truce. These guys are undesirables. A new Iraq don’t need undesirables like al-Sadr and his followers.
